WHY BE A MEMBER OF THE AMERICAN DENTAL ASSOCIATION (ADA) TRIPARTITE SYSTEM?
More than 158,000 dentists and 18,000 students in the U.S. are already members of the ADA tripartite ("three part") system - local, state, and national levels. The ADA, Ohio Dental Association (ODA), and The Greater Cleveland Dental Society (GCDS) enhance your ability to achieve success and excellence as a dentist, and ensure a strong future for our profession. GCDS is proud to be your local component of the ADA. The GCDS Mission is to improve oral health and strengthen dentistry in the Greater Cleveland area by Promoting the Success of Our Members. A strong ADA means more resources for members and a powerful voice in Washington DC and at the Statehouse in Columbus. Our strength comes from individual dentists such as you. The end goal of our association is to ensure a strong future for the dental profession and the best treatment for the patients we care for. The dental profession holds a very special position of trust in our community and the best doctor-patient relationships are built on that trust. When patients choose an ADA member dentist, they are choosing a dentist who has easy access to a wealth of up-to-date information and resources, and has agreed to follow the ADA Principles of Ethics and Code of Professional Conduct. Our patients know that as a dentist who is a member of the ADA through The Greater Cleveland Dental Society, we have made a professional promise to put their health and well-being first.

Renew/Pay Dues
Dues should be remitted in full or through an installment payment plan established by Jan. 1st. If dues have not been paid in full or an installment payment plan is not established, members will discontinue receiving tripartite membership benefits as of Mar. 31st.
For questions about your membership dues or the installment plan options, contact membership@oda.org or call (800) 282-1526.
Payment Options
Your membership dues may be paid by check (payable to the ODA), credit card or ACH. For your convenience, and in an effort to ease the payment of tripartite member dues, the ODA offers an Installment Payment Plan. There is no additional fee to pay your dues through an Installment Payment Plan. Simply choose the number of payments you prefer. The number of payments will be adjusted automatically to process and the final payment must be made by the deadline of November 30th.
Credit Card
MasterCard, Visa and Discover credit cards are accepted by the ODA. All debit card transactions will process as a credit card payment because a pin number is not available.
Dues can be paid in one total sum or equal monthly payments through the Installment Payment Plan (2, 4, 6 or 8).
Installment Payments
To set up an installment plan or for more information, please contact the ODA membership dept. via email or at (614) 486-2700.
