North Coast Spring Meeting (NCSM)

Four dental societies in northeast Ohio comprise North Coast:
Attendees begin their day with a FREE continental breakfast beginning at 7:30 am in  the Exhibit Hall. While there, make sure to visit the many exhibitors  who are anxious to show you the latest technology, products, and services. Also be sure to drop your “Drawing Ticket” in the box for the prize drawing.

There are separate drawings for dentists and staff; so please make sure to put your ticket in the correct box. Names will be drawn throughout the day. Winners’ names will be posted  in the Exhibit Hall.
Paid registrations will also receive a FREE buffet lunch. Lunch will be served in the main lobby.
Visit the Table Clinics to receive up to an additional 2 CEUs.

The In-home7-hr Study workbook will now be purchased for the same low rental fee as before. The benefit is when a dentist purchases the workbook, the same workbook may be used multiple times in the future as long as the OSDB approves of the home-study materials. Only a minimal fees will be charged for processing of the required paperwork.

Dental assistant radiographers must renew their radiographer certification with the Ohio State Dental Board before the end of the year.  This 2-hour continuing education DVD program titled "X-Ray Basics and Troubleshooting Errors" is available for viewing at The Greater Cleveland Dental Society Headquarters Office at Route 82 and I-77 in Broadview Heights.

Online CE Tracking

GCDS members now can use their My ADA account to help them track their CE credits!

Members can log their CE credits and can find already-logged CE credits for any courses they have taken through the ADA, MDA or component society* (2015 and after) that uploads CE course attendance data.

  • CE logged by members will be noted as unverified, simply because it is being added by the member.
  • CE in the system, which has been input automatically by the ADA, ODA or GCDS will be noted as verified.
  • Members will be able to upload CE cards or other certificates of verification for a course, and members will be able to print a CE report from the site.
