Basic Function: The primary function of the Director of Hygiene is to assure that the hygienists throughout the company are operating per protocols while achieving an expected level of production and patient satisfaction. This includes ensuring that the hygienists are properly trained, evaluated, and held accountable to Hudec Dental standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Introduces and maintains compliance of company policies, procedures, objectives, mission, and values of Hudec Dental • Communicates with the hygienist team on such topics as company happenings, training topics, chart reviews, etc. • Holds quarterly and semi-annual meetings with hygienists • Trains, coaches, mentors and develops all hygienists • Provides professional and technical expertise to oral health staff and management to maximize the effectiveness of oral health programs. • Evaluates performance and training needs in relation to company objectives for hygienists • Develops, plans and evaluates oral health programs (universal perio program). • Sets goals, assume overall responsibility for goals and review goals on an annual basis. • Assists in recruitment and hiring of hygienists • Monitors production and schedules • Acts as the liaison between internal and external clinical and community oral health programs • Researches and evaluates oral health trends. • Provides extraordinary patient care by example and by coaching • Attends mandatory meetings, such as monthly manager meeting, training meetings, etc. • Resolves patient concerns in a professional and timely manner • Monitors goals of providers and office on a weekly basis • Monitors quality and quantity of daily output on a daily basis • Compiles and analyzes all monthly reports • Creates and deploys standard operating protocols and processes for Hudec Dental hygienists • Institutes and enforces a universal perio program for Hudec Dental • Performs clinical duties with patients if needed • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications • Other duties as assigned Requirements: • Education/Certifications: Must have a current and active Ohio Hygienist Licensure Must have Hepatitis B Vaccinations Records Current CPR • Experience: 2-5 years of prior experience. Prefers 1-2 years management or training experience. • Must have strong skills using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook • Must have a high level of accuracy in data entry • Must be able to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in the English language. • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action • Must have excellent interpersonal, written, oral communication skills, presentation skills • Must have excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions • Able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast paced environment • Must possess a professional and friendly attitude and be able to develop a rapport with customers over the phone. • Must have reliable transportation, 60-75% of travel between offices • Knowledge of training techniques and principles. • Knowledge of research techniques and methods. • Skill in establishing working relationships in a team setting

Basic Function: The primary function of the Patient Coordinator is to assure the smooth transition for the patient as they enter and exit the office through duties that include phone reception, scheduling/confirming appointments, verifying insurance, patient and insurance billing, direct communication with patients, and other various administrative projects as may be assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assure a smooth transition for the patient as they enter and exit the office Check patients in upon arrival per Hudec Dental Associates’ policies and protocols Answer telephone calls and retrieves voicemail messages periodically throughout the day Complete pre-authorizations and referrals as appropriate for patients. Scan all information needed to process insurance claims for patients Follow up on insurance problems from mail/phone calls Initiate delinquent account processing 30-60 days Schedule appointments for new and existing patients during check out Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial/insurance information Inform and educate patients on current promotions and programs (Share a Smile, Vivid, CareCredit) Resolve problems in a timely manner by clarifying issues; research and explore answers and alternative solutions; implement solutions; escalate unresolved problems to Office Manager Communicate with office team concerning schedule changes Complete patient correspondence as required/needed Document all necessary call information according to Hudec Dental policy Maintain and file charts for patients Inform corresponding staff apprised of booking changes Generate reports needed for the day in DentalVision and Dentech Review work in progress reports in DentalVision and the recall list report generated from DenTech system Follow up with patients using reports from both softwares (DentalVision, DenTech) Maintain logs to show daily bookings Answer patient questions regarding patient visits Inform patients of expectations regarding future visits Verify insurance for same day scheduled appointments Open and distribute mail to correct individuals Post incoming patient payments from mail Collect and post patient co-pays as due Send insurance claims daily (with attachments if necessary-x-rays, charting, etc.) Attend office morning huddle-update staff regarding upcoming appointments/booking changes if applicable Other duties as assigned Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: 0-2 years customer service Preferred Experience: Dental Office experience/knowledge Computer Skills: Intermediate computer skills, and knowledge or Microsoft Office products. Ability to learn clinical software Skills: Courteous with strong customer service focus, excellent communication skills including effective listening and problem solving skills, superior time management and prioritization skills, ability to effectively communicate with all team members as well as all levels of management, ability to work in a positive, fast-paced environment
