Be sure to check the Calendar of Events .CE Events Dentists have the chance to attend CE Events that introduce new ideas and hone your skills. Other events such as Give Kids A Smile! Day, Safe Smiles Program, and New Dentist Study Club are a great time to reconnect with your colleagues in Cleveland.

At Outreach Events dental professionals come together to reconnect and provide tangible benefits our community. At events like Give Kids a Smile and Safe Smiles, dentists and their teams volunteer to give their best care to help create better health for our communities.

Advocacy Events like the local Capital Club meetings and the ODA's Day at the Statehouse, where your attendance means you make sure your voice is heard on issues important to dentistry. These are great events to meet and talk to your legislators to make sure they know the issues you face as a small business owner and health care provider, and those that affect your patients—like insurance, Medicaid funding, and the mid-level provider issue. Members also may attend the ODA House of Delegates where our local delegation advocates vote on resolutions, determine annual dues, elect State Association officers and honor award recipients.

Sometimes, you just want to attend an event to socialize with your friends in dentistry!
GCDS offers several opportunities throughout the year for member interaction. The New Dentist Study Club meets in April and September, the Society celebrates all members at the Annual Inaugural Dinner in May, there is a Golf Outing  every summer, and a few other evening events like the Women In Dentistry Dinner in the spring.

 

GCDS members now can use their My ADA account to help them track CE credits! Members can log
their CE credits and can find already-logged CE credits for any courses they have taken
through the ADA, ODA, or GCDS that uploads CE course attendance data.
