The GCDS is a non-profit, professional trade organization with more than 800 member-dentists, representing all areas of dentistry. Founded in 1886, the GCDS is a unified organization of individual members committed to the highest quality of care for the public and a resource for advocacy, education, communication, information and fellowship.

The GCDS is a local component of a tripartite association where members belong to the American Dental Association, the state association, and their local component society. This Society is governed by a 24-member board and currently has five executive office staff to serve our members.
